Tuesday Tales: Meet the Elisar Character – Maggie & Updates

This week, I wanted to introduce one of the Points of View (POV) for my story. Unfortunately, I don’t have portraits yet, but I’m working on it! The first character is “Maggie”.

MAGGIE

Maggie has the shortest perspective in Blood of the Banshee. She isn’t quite alive, and she isn’t quite dead, either.

Maggie’s story begins on a deserted island in the middle of the Mists. She and Salt – her thrall-turned-companion – are trying to leave the island they’ve been trapped on for decades. They’ve been building a ship out of debris called The Bitter End.

Maggie isn’t what she once was. She might still be sharp and have a quick tongue at times, but she is worn down by time and magic that she shouldn’t cast anymore.

BLOOD OF THE BANSHEE PROGRESS

I also wanted to use today to share updates on the book itself, too. The structural edits are coming along nicely, though it will take some time for them to be complete. I realise now that I might need to conduct some architectural research on castles… And, me being me, I have injured my arm and hand, which has slowed me righhhhttttttt down.

I’m going through Auralon’s POV now, and I’ll be sharing more about him next week!

Thanks for being here with me on this journey⚓
