Read advance copies, post honest reviews, and help shape future releases in the Banshee saga.
Advance Reader Copies (ARC) are early digital editions given before release in exchange for honest reviews.
Blood of the Banshee is a dark epic-fantasy serial filled with grit, politics, and magic-law intrigue. Parts are released every two months. ARCs are digital only.

“Part One of five: this dark fantasy novella begins the complete first book of Blood of the Banshee.
When a banshee-blooded outlaw is snatched in a crowded inn, she becomes leverage in a legal battle amongst the Valariels of Sanctaris. Bindings hold her between life and death, and rival orders contest her fate. The Justarin demands custody while others fight to spare her.
Zaras, a battle-worn elf turned bounty hunter who nearly captured her, wakes in rioting Nocturnis, stabbed and choking on sewage. Auralon, exhausted from purging plagues, returns to Sanctaris to find the girl cocooned in spell-thread as his mentor faces a trial mired in politics.
Across the world of Elisar, dragons vanish, necromancy resurges, and plagues are spreading like ink in rainwater.
Blood of the Banshee: Part One blends grim magic, political intrigue and gritty, character-driven drama. For readers who enjoy their fantasy unpredictable, their heroes flawed, and their antagonists certain they’re right.”

What’s expected
Honest reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, or BookBub.
No file sharing or redistribution.
Awareness that Blood of the Banshee is dark epic fantasy (not romantasy).
Reviews ideally within two weeks of release.
While Part One is open to all reviewers, Part Two (and later instalments) will have limited ARC spaces. These will go first to readers who’ve shown interest in continuing the story or have reviewed earlier parts. The series follows one continuous narrative, so later parts will make the most sense to those already familiar with the previous novellas.

Future gifts and bonuses
For now, ARCs are digital-only. I’m not currently promising extras, but that doesn’t rule out future rewards or thank-you items for a consistent review team.
FAQ
Is this romantasy?
No. Blood of the Banshee is a dark epic fantasy that focuses on politics, corruption, and magic-law rather than romance. The author happens to be female. The genre has nothing to do with gender.
Is there no sexual content at all?
Not in these first five parts. Blood of the Banshee focuses on the political, moral, and supernatural conflicts driving the story. The world and its relationships are adult in tone, but there are no on-page sex scenes for the time being. Later arcs may explore mature relationships and intimacy when it fits naturally with the characters and story, but that’s further ahead in the series.
Why release it in five parts instead of one full book?
Blood of the Banshee is written and edited in sections because that’s the workflow that best suits both my resources and my neurodivergent brain. Releasing the story in parts allows me to carefully polish each section, manage production costs in stages, and stay visible within Amazon’s algorithm rather than disappearing for years between releases. I’m doing this entirely on my own while raising three children and studying, so this structure keeps the project practical and sustainable. For readers who prefer to experience the whole story at once, a compiled edition will be available later.
Will you be releasing the five parts as one full book?
Yes. The complete edition will be released once all five parts are out, though I don’t yet have the final details to share. While my schedule might look straightforward on paper, it’s not quite as simple behind the scenes. I’m in the early stages of exploring printing options outside Amazon for paperback, hardback, and possibly special editions, but it’s a long process, and a lot of dominoes need to line up for it to work.
Do I need to read Part One to review Part Two?
Yes. The story is continuous, and later parts build directly on earlier events, so reviews of later instalments will make the most sense if you’ve read the earlier parts.
I wasn’t there for the ARC of Part One, but I’ve read it elsewhere and would like to be a reader for Part Two (or later parts). Can I?
Yes. As long as you’ve read up to the relevant part of the story, you’re very welcome to join the ARC for that instalment. The series is continuous, so familiarity with earlier parts simply helps you follow the plot and review accurately.
If these five parts are Book One, will Book Two be in five parts as well?
I’m undecided.
Are ARCs physical copies?
No. ARCs are digital-only via BookFunnel.
Are physical copies or PR boxes available?
No. All ARCs are digital-only via BookFunnel. Physical copies and special editions are privately funded collector items and aren’t (currently) part of the ARC programme.
When will future ARCs open?
See the schedule table above for opening and closing dates.
Can you read my ARC if I read yours?
I really appreciate the offer, but I don’t have the capacity for ARC swaps. I currently juggle two jobs, university work, health challenges, and three children, so my reading time is almost entirely spent on editing my own series.
Why not go through a literary agent instead of releasing in parts?
For now, I’ve chosen to self-publish so I can retain full creative freedom and manage the series in the way that best suits my circumstances. I have a legal background, so I’m comfortable handling the business side myself. A traditional representation can be a great option for many writers, but at this stage, it’s important for me to maintain control over my schedule and vision for Blood of the Banshee.
Why are some reviewers mentioning formatting issues or missing extras, such as maps and a glossary?
ARC copies aren’t the finished version of a book. They go out early so people can read the story ahead of release, which means things like final formatting, glossaries, or bonus pages might still be in progress. Mentioning those in a review can give the wrong impression to other readers, especially for a debut author who’s still finding their audience. The finished edition has the full layout and all the extras. Please judge the story itself, not the temporary quirks of an early file.
Will the same ARC readers be automatically invited to future parts?
Not necessarily. ARC access isn’t guaranteed. I’m building the list based on who actually reads the book, leaves genuine reviews, and understands what an advance copy is for. Reviewers who focus on unfinished formatting or missing extras, or who clearly aren’t the right audience, simply won’t be invited to the next round.
