29th July, Tuesday Tales: An Author Update
The last two weeks have been hell.

Health
Last week, I experienced trouble with RSI again, but this time it affected my fingers, making it physically impossible to type, draw, scroll on a Kindle or phone, or read. In short, anything related to my work and hobbies, and then that meant I couldn’t calm down from falling behind, which made things worse, of course. I have better supportive gloves now, but they’re still stinging. Typing this is killing my wrist.
It’s been weeks of headaches and dizziness, too. I’ve had nurses, doctors and an optician check with nothing obvious to show. I have Meniere’s disease, so it’s being put down to that. I can’t put on headphones or listen to music either because of this, let alone the limitations on my hands as well. I tried my dictation software to write, but it was making it worse. I blacked out over the weekend and saw a nurse again today, who put it down to a viral infection that has flared up. Doesn’t make it any less terrifying when it happens, to be honest.
Apologies, I’m not as optimistic or excited as I usually am to create.
Blood of the Banshee
I have done some minor editing on Blood of the Banshee, but I’m going to add it all up next week instead, as I didn’t get to do a lot of work. I’ve changed the format of how I edit so that it’s organised by the correct parts rather than by POV.
I’m certain now that I’ll be releasing a Flora book as a side project. You may’ve seen some of these drawings, and I hope to expand on them further. I’ve managed this week to draft up a seedling, budding and open flower version of the Aescinpetal.
As ever, thanks for being here with me on this journey🌙
